Exactly the same as in 32-bit hardware.

Only if they expose such a thing to AppleScript, which would be a rather
dumb thing to do on their part, not AppleScript's.

I can understand that, but they're really implementation details that
shouldn't matter, and could easily change. The key things a scripter needs
to know are the limits and what happens when they are exceeded.
