Question (1) : Is it a way to change the screenshot tool to apply an other set of permissions ?

Probably, but I can't figure it out. I can, however, change the location of screenshots with

defaults write com.apple.screencapture location /new/path/here

Thanks.
It's what I used to define the target folder.
The startup volume for 10.5 is volume 1
the startup one for 10.4.11 is volume 2
the volume where I store documents which must be used from both systems is volume 3

Question (2) : Is it normal that the folder actions script doesn't it's duty when a screenshot is created in it ?

Yes. Annoying, isn't it? It only spots it if it's not created by a system task (I think that's what happens, at least).

What a mess ! I was afraid of that but it seems so ridiculous that I thought that I was fool to think to that.

Question (3) with the parms passed to chmod, the permissions are OK but the small lock at the bottom_right of the infos window is closed.
Is it a setting allowing to unlock it ?

do shell script "chflags nouchg /path/to/file"

Thanks.
I will try to apply it.
After all, maybe it will be sufficient to let the iconizer app do its duty.
