Network Preferences Suite

Hi.  I'm new to AppleScript.  I need to have a script connect a network, and it looked like the Network Preferences Suite of System Events might be the way to go.

Does anyone know of some examples using that set of functions/properties?

From what I've seen so far it looks like the documentation on the various dictionaries is pretty sparse, and doesn't generally contain usage examples...
