I just did one more little test. I wrote the one-liner ...

	display dialog "Hi There!"

in Smile and saved as a run-only application bundle.
When I moved it to my Tiger/ppc-G3 iBook, it worked correctly.

I also looked at its info.plist file and found that it does NOT contain the line

	LSMinimumSystemVersionByArchitecture

But, this may have nothing to do with the problem.

I use Smile only to write source code and I always use ASE to compile to an application bundle.

I'm curious why Smile and ASE are behaving differently when saving as an application bundle.
