I have looked at the crash logs for the test applications I have been trying to run on a ppc-G3/Tiger.
The logs always report ...

	Link (dyld) error:

	incompatible cpu-subtype

So, I Googled "incompatible cpu-subtype". It seems I'm not the first to encounter this problem and there is a fix for it, but only if you are compiling with X-code or gcc.

The problem seems to be that applications created by AppleScript Editor in Snow Leopard are excluding the G3 processor. Either ...
1 - This is a deliberate change in Snow Leopard,
but someone forgot to write it to the release notes; or
2 - This is a bug and needs to be fixed.

But which?

(Has anyone tried my tests on ppc-G4/Tiger?)
