Maybe by "run", Jarrod means " do the appropriate thing with, as of
double-clicked"? In that case, the way to do it from Terminal is
"open filename". Which for a .h file will probably launch Xcode.

All the way back when snow leopard came out i installed it and everything is running fine. but just recently i wanted to use the terminal again. the problem you ask? I am the admin on my account but i cant do anything in terminal. Such as run a simple .h file using C. It always comes up with permission denied.  Before the upgrade it was fine. I tried to restore permissions but not even that worked. If you know whats going on or might have some insight i would get much better sleep knowing that the computer doesnt control me but that i am the master of distater.
