I am looking to write image data to a file using applescript. A similar script that I have found that does this (but doesn't appear to work anymore) is iTunes Artwork to Preview from Doug's Scripts. Does anyone have any expertise with this?

OK, yes. I do.

Looks like iTunes 9 under Snow Leopard is funky about artwork. Coincidentally, I was alerted to this just the other day. Try changing "data" to "raw data".

Meanwhile, I'm going to try and figure out why that snippet you posted doesn't work.

Cheers,
Doug
