The stock rsync on OSX has (by default) preserved resource forks for a few versions - maybe as far back as 10.4 - and has good support for extended attributes as well... wouldn't swear on the defaults being ideal for preserving both, but I think they are - I use rsync for backups of data fork-only files so going by memory and a quick Google. _______________________________________________
