How do I write an info grabbing utility?

Hello,I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion
or way to create a small utility, to run, that will show a user the name/shared
name of the machine they are on and it's IP address?I have kind of seen something like this,
and it was great for when we need an easy way to gather info from a user
to ARD to their machine. Any help would be great! Thanks!
