To be clear, REALbasic is a standalone dev environment that lets you
call out to other systems, not a GUI creator for other langs.  Using
it to provide a GUI for AS is similar to using AS to provide a GUI for
shell command via "display dialog" and "do shell script" - somewhat
inverted from one might want if they were primarily a shell developer
who wanted to insert GUI actions.

REALbasic also costs a significant amount of money.

Pashua looks interesting - and it's free - but I haven't used it, so I
can't comment on how well it works.
