Hi,

I'm very new to scripting but I've hacked together a simple service using automator and applescript that gives me a global keyboard shortcut for answering and hanging up Skype calls.

I'd like to bundle this up in a way that I could make it simple for others to install and use.

Ideally they'd get a zip file that they could download, open and double click something to have it placed in their services folder and the keyboard shortcut of my choice installed. Something really Mac-like.

Is that straight forward? Is there a reference somewhere for doing that?

I did come across ThisService but that doesn't seem to do a good job w/ SnowLeopard—the service needs to be enabled after install and the user must set their own keyboard shortcut.

If I have to jump into ObjectiveC / Cocoa to do this I'd appreciate some starting points for manipulating services and keyboard shortcuts.

Thanks in advance.

-Tim
