I have a number of AppleScript applets that live on an NT server.

We access the severer using afp protocol.

Over the weekend the server was reconfigured and the afp stuff was broken.

We could mount the server, but all the icons were replaced with generic
icons.

The problem took a while to resolve, and everything is working, but, some of
the applets stored on the server now have generic application icons and they
don't work. No response when double-clicked or when files are dropped on
the droplets.

So we tried to delete those files, but we're getting an error that the file
can't be deleted because the item "contents" is in use or the item "Mac OSX"
is in use.

Both of those are names of folders inside the bundle.

Any idea how we can get rid of these ruined appleScripts?
