I rebel at the suggestion of adding yet another item to the desktop, especially since there is a place (folder) for scripts, Universal Scripts.
Here is what I'm trying to accomplish;
on run run script (((path to Library & scripts & (Universal Scripts)) & "setBounds.app") as text as alias) end run
Are you using the Apple's Script Editor ?
Here your script doesn't compile. The subset :
path to Library & scripts
compile but fails because Library is deciphered as a variable.
