You can use our osax Mail.osax.
FWIW, it's sending approx. 3000 emails a day for our clients.

Hello,
We have been using Applescript to send emails from our website using
a special scripting package for AppleScript called 24U Email OSAX.
Information about the product is available here: http://www.24usoftware.com/EmailOSAX
Does anyone else have experience using this product? It seems to
work well, but I think it has some sort of bug which causes it to
crash fairly frequently. We need a good scripting solution, so I
want to see what other options are out there which might be more
reliable. Any suggestions?
We will soon be using AppleScript or something similar to send
emails for a large international animal rescue organization with
over 150,000 subscribers. Whatever we use, therefore, needs to be
fast, simple and reliable.
I know you can script Apple Mail, but given the huge volume of
emails we will be sending, that doesn't seem like the best option.
We don't want the emails saved, we just want something to send
them. We also need something with the capability of adding
attachments and custom headers.
Someone once suggested Python to me, but I haven't tried that.
Anyone with experience using that, or any other option, which would
be good for scripting large volumes of email messages to be sent out
to our animal rescue subscribers?
Best wishes,
