Satimage OSAX Needs an Update

  • Subject: Satimage OSAX Needs an Update

Sorry if this has already been highlighted but I can't search the list-serve archives and the author is unreachable via his website but I know he reads this list.

Every time I open any application I get the following message in the Console:

10/16/10 2:03:40 PM	Console[473]	Performance: Please update this scripting addition to supply a value for ThreadSafe for each event handler: "/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Satimage.osax"

I have the latest version, and it still generates this message.

As an aside, I have concluded from traceroutes that the delay in Apple's internal network to reach lists.apple.com is so long that the NAT translation in my router is timing out so that I never see the response when it arrives. I also see this on several other Apple pages. The traceroutes are all fine until I hit the Apple edge servers, then nada. Traceroutes from NetworkTools.com show the delay also, so it's not just my geography. I sent a note off to Apple but it will probably be about as effective as sending one to Santa. You'd think that with all those billions...
