It all sounds intriguing, but key details appear to have been left out, such as:
1. Does the AppleScript "webpagehelper" run on the web client, or on the server that's serving the page?
2. It appears they're talking about web pages that contain links of the form:
3. How could a web server ever depend on the client computer to be running such a protocol handler? (Unless we're maybe talking about very narrow custom applications designed for in-house use in an organization?)
Anybody care to lay out a simple use case describing how the various bits work together? Thanks in advance. |
