Automator Workflow isn't appearing in Services menu

Folks --

I'm trying to create an Automator service but nothing is appearing in the Services menu.

I choose Service, then select "Numbers" (the app I want to use it in), add the Run Applescript workflow and add the script. It compiles, and I save and close.

I run Numbers and the service doesn't appear.

I tried creating a generic TextEdit service -- a simple search and replace -- and it doesn't appear either.

Both workflows, BTW, appear in the Keyboard Shortcuts window so maybe it's safe to assume they're being saved in the right place.

I'm using OS X 10.6.7 on a 2-month-old Mac Mini.
