Hi everyone on the list!
I'm a newbie in the field of AppleScript and bought a book to learn it. So I thought it could be good
support for learning to experiment a little bit. My victim:Xcode 4.01 - I thought.
The idea for the script is from a script you can find on the internet: the user selects some portion of text in Xcode (usually
the line of a method or function definition), a little apple script will get the selected text and generates a
doxygen comment template. This will be written back to Xcode (in front of the current selection).
It turned out that resolving this is not that easy.
It's no problem to get selected text from Xcode (it's a property of the class text document). But how to hell
can I get the active selection? Or the active document? There is no active flag or anything like that.
Is there any thing I missed? Help would be appreciated!

Ralf
