Hey there, on Tue Aug 9 13:40:35 2011, Luther Fuller wrote the following interesting missive: I have a very large script in which there are many lines of the form
( ... some construction ... ) as text
At least that's what they look like when I open the script with Smile in Snow Leopard. Nowhere in the script does the phrase 'rich text' appear.
I'm making changes to the script so it will work in Lion, so, I had the script open in Smile in Lion and noticed that the phrase
( ... some construction ... ) as rich text
appeared often. And I don't think I want that for file names, path names and such. I changed these lines to ...
( ... some construction ... ) as unicode text
I hope that's correct. Anyone have an explanation?
Apparently, either you're using that construct within an application's tell block or you have an OSAX that supports rich text. The problem doesn't happen on my system, and I can't even get "as rich text" to compile when typed manually.
