Running under 10.6.8
I'm running into a lovely issue when sending remote applescripts to another machine with multiple user accounts all running happily. I have my main user (zav) logged in and then users from user01 to user08 logged in. Each user that is not the main account has no password.
The super odd thing is that when instructing user01 of my Powerbook to do the following, the instruction does not get passed to user01, but instead, user08
open application file id "com.apple.systemevents" open application file id "com.apple.Safari" end tell So, when looking in the process monitor after running the script above, I can see that the System Events app and Safari are launched but in user08, not in the one that I tell it to go to Even when use the username and password of the main user, the applications get launched in the user space of the last user that is logged in. Any idea why this might be the case? Thanks - Alex Zavatone
