No. All I'm saying is that hideable is not the same as hidden. As someone else pointed out, if the mouse pointer is in the dock zone, the dock will be visible even though the script says it is hideable.
The only way to programmatically determine whether the Dock is hidden is to check to see whether it is hideable, and to check whether the mouse pointer is in the zone.
