finder - how do I rename/move this?

filemaker server daily creates a backup with a time date stamp like:
THIS-FOLDER_2011-12-22_2245
now I need to move it's contents elsewhere
since it is always different name ever day - I can't get to it with
simple scripting
here is the path...
maindrive/bu1/bu1a/THIS-FOLDER_2011-12-22_2245/main-here
QUESTIONS:
1 - is there a way to say : rename the 1st folder (it is also the ONLY
folder) in path ---- maindrive/bu1/bu1a/ THIS ONE - no mater what
it's name is... from xxx(whatever name) to "this name"?
or
2 - is there a way to say : GRAB the 1st and only folder in this path
---- maindrive/bu1/bu1a/ THIS ONE --- and move it to xxxx?
or
3 - is there a way to say : TELL ME THE NAME OF the 1st and only
folder in this path maindrive/bu1/bu1a/ THIS ONE ?
