List of all applications

  • Subject: List of all applications

I'd like to create an AppleScript to scan my hard drive and produce a list of all my applications and the date they were last opened. The purpose is to find unused apps so I can see which ones to delete.

I've tried using the Unix 'find' command, i.e.
find . -name "*.app" -print
but that also goes into the application bundles, which I don't want. Plus, it doesn't give the date they were last opened.

Has something like this already been written? If not, I'd really appreciate some pointers.

Thanks,
