Hi all,

Since recently upgrading one of our network machines to 10.6.6, the user of said machine keeps being prompted to authenticate when the script attached to the /Volumes/ folder kicks in.

This script is in place to check that any new mounted volume is (or not) a digital camera card (i.e. contains a "DCIM" folder). To do this I have decided to use the 'do shell script' "find" command (in Snow Leopard, the 'entire contents of' is amazingly slow), with administrator privileges and password included.

Anyhow, the user keeps being prompted for an authentication.

Any smart ideas, anyone? My next move is to revert to a 10.6 SnowLeo DVD install.

j.
