Regarding the code you provided, I don't need to include the selection process in that part of the script. Basically what I have is a list of folders, the selection process is not relevant (especially since I could imagine actually not selecting anything but rather specifying the folder names right in the code).
So, basically you are suggesting I develop my own code to create my "apply (function) to (list of arguments)" ? That's interesting !

I'll dive into that as soon as I've delivered a few jobs...
So, handlers are what is otherwise called subroutines/functions ? That's actually what I think I was looking for.
Now, how should I go about that in terms of language and delivery media ? Should I mostly think in terms of Applescript or should I consider diving into about Obj-C ? Would that have to be an "osax" ?
