Well so much for the last word!

We've really reached the point where we're just rehashing and rephrasing the same arguments.

My final recommendations are:

1. Use descriptive variables in scripts
2. Except when iterating through a repeat loop in which case i,j,k, a, b, c, etc. may be  used (x, y, probably not anymore since they may cause confusion with key words)
3. Feel free to ignore rule 2.
4. Don't pounce on posters for violating your personal preferences on the details.

And, of course, feel free to ignore all of the above.

That's my last word on this, for reals.
