I have not yet upgraded my primary OS (10.6.8) to Lion, but I did install Lion on a partition on my external HD. I've already crashed it and probably via AppleScript.
I ran a script that shows invisible items via ...
set value of property list item "AppleShowAllFiles" of property list file filePath to (true)
Something seemed to not be right, so I changed back via ...
set value of property list item "AppleShowAllFiles" of property list file filePath to (false)
Now, I have a big problem. When I try to double-click on a disk icon to open its window, I get an extremely tiny image of the window, then Finder quits and I get a dialog asking if I want to Restore Windows or Not. No matter which I click, nothing is fixed. If I can't find a fix by tomorrow, I will have to reinstall.
The problem could have been caused by a recursive window positioning script I ran earlier. Don't know for sure.
If anyone knows what "Restore Windows" means, I'd love to know.
