I confirm, except for the meaninglessness: the second number is quite
important, it's the descent.
15 seems a little low for 40pt text
It's not 40pt text. Bob did not provide a "font" parameter to
measuretext, only the string. I suppose the default size is 12 or close.

getting
back is an NSRect: the first two would be x and y coordinates, and
therefore
largely meaningless in this context, and the last two width and
height. But
