We have to back up thousands of client submissions monthly, I've burned over
9000 discs over the past 10 years.
It could be across the board.  I've had files with bad names (somehow
contains a slash or pound sign or a carriage rerturn or worse, I don't even
know how they can be named like they are), sometimes weird files from PCs or
the internet. Corrupt files that simply give no warning but fail a burn
(buried down deep in folders where we don't do any kind of checking).
Occasionally bad media, but not often.
I'd check for some corrupt files first. It might be tedious to examine a lot
of files.
