Hello Yvan,

Sorry, a bad copy/paste: I started with an existing file ("Cisco Notes.txt"), then continued with a fresh file ("sample.txt"), so as to ensure that an "old" and a "new" file behaved the same way.
So, my snippet should have read with a same file everywhere ("sample.txt"); the "detour" through HFSP was just a means to verify that making use of a Finder reference or an alias didn't matter with regard to your problem.
