Is there a way to do this?

This sort of thing?

 on myHandlerName()
   display dialog "Yes!"
 end myHandlerName

 run script "on run {fred}
 tell fred to myHandlerName()
 end" with parameters {me}

Hey Nigel,

Splendid!!!!

Archmage badge to you.  :)

It works, and it works perfectly with Script Debugger's embedded libraries too.

The overhead seems pretty lightweight as well.

I'll try it on the big script here after a while and do some time-trials for good measure.

Many thanks.
