[ASOC] 'store script' still broken?

Hi All,

Trying to use "store script" in a script loaded by the ASOC part of my application results in an error, something like "can't make «script» into type script.

I did some online research and I gather that 'store script' was broken in ASOC, at least it was last year. Is there any fix for this yet? Shane?
