Hi,
Now that we've got an answer to that question.
How do we deal with Finder idiosyncrasies.
If I open a non-shared folder (A), then go to it's parent or above and set it's Get Info to "Shared" the folder (A) still shows NO Shared Bar, but tests as Shared.
Granted this is an unlikely scenario, but found as part of testing.
The purpose of this project is to re-shape the selected folder, with a shortcut key combo, to;
1. Set name column width to width of longest name
2. Size folder window height to show all lines and no more
3. Size folder window width to show all columns and no more
4. Remain at same location relative to top left corner
5. Optionally add or delete Toolbar
6. Contain window within screen size (allowing for icons at right side) on different computers
All tasks have been accomplished except #1.
TIA,
Robert Poland
