yes, I have seen that before.


Try this first:
Quit quark
quit script editor
Launch quark
launch script editor
it's important to do this in this direction


Open de script (an app won't work)
compile


2 nd option
copy the compiled code (from an 10.4 machine) in a text file
paste de compiled code on your 10.6 machine in a new script editor window
compile

Hi everyone,We bought new machines a short time ago and migrated from 10.4 to 10.6.8. We use QuarkXPress Passport 7.5 on both systems (we need to because of our clients). On the new system, practically all scripts used suddenly are broken. It looks as if AppleScript couldn't find the dictionary anymore. When we open a script in the editor, it shows all the internal "" things instead of the human-readable equivalents. Compiling them isn't possible any more. Writing new Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
