Hello Luther,
Wrt your questions within this thread, it is the first time we hear about users "mailtest" and "dummy", and we don't yet know what you expected mailtest and dummy able to do. It is thus quite difficult to provide an answer.
Moreover, BOTH standard permissions and ACLs are relevant, as well as the kind of item (file or directory or whatever else) they apply. According to the above "results", it could well be about a directory.
Please provide more info,
