I've just tried these ...

POSIX file "/" --> file "OS_X:"

and

(POSIX file "/") as alias --> alias "OS_X:"

with the results you see. It seems that "/" must be the startup disk.
But what is the official definition of "/" ?
I've Googled, but found nothing.
