There might be a way to hide the app from the user completely, but you'd have to have administrator privilege and you would be tampering with the app.
Showing an app in the dock it is the apps decision, an app preference to be more precise.
You could do more harm than good.
And... you could upset a Terminal user (me for instance).
You should not do that, let Terminal show up in the dock.
