While searching for information on sandboxing and gatekeeper, I tend to ignore items that mention Xcode, which explains my ignorance on this. Thanks for the clarification.

Yes, and I'm worried about that. My application writes to:
1. ~/Library/Preferences/com.LutherFuller.MailWing.plist
2. ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist
3. ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
4. ~/Library/Application Support/
5. ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/

I am very careful to: never modify a property and never use a global variable. So, I think 'codesign'ing will work. When I get a chance, I am going to experiment with using 'codesign'. But, no time to do that today.
