A very long time is right. I waited 10 minutes after copying a medium sized picture from iPhoto, and the force Quit window showed Applescript Editor as 'not responding', so I force quit it.
Interestingly, the Dictionary for Lion Finder shows this...
clipboard (specifier, r/o) : (NOT AVAILABLE YET) the Finder’s clipboard window
which makes me wonder if Mountain lion might introduce a Clipboard Window, or actually speed up getting the Clipboard.
Any thoughts anyone? Anyone trialling Mountain Lion?
