Hi Shane,
Um, wouldn't that need to be a property? And how would a file that doesn't exist provide a result for that? Is the concept flawed or am I not seeing the whole picture?
On the other hand, requesting the non-existent 'exists' property of a non-existent file would generate an error, which could be captured and used somewhat like "the alias trick" and might even be in better taste. :-)
