FaceSpan Null error

Hello to all

It has been a very long time since I have been here.
I am not exactly retired but am not working full time either.
So a bit of a strange place for me.

My question is about FaceSpan 4.3
At my last job I had written a lot of applications using version 4.3

They just called me in to make a few adjustments.  duh ok

When I tried to compile the scripts using the FaceSpan editor I get a "Null" error.
I remember this but do not remember how to fix it.
I think I had to create a new script and paste the one that was erroring into is and it would then compile.
BUT I don't remember [more than a year ago.]
Then it had to be renamed????

Does anyone know if there is an easy fix to this?  Please !!

Yes Shane I know : go to Xcode and use your book.
Actually I have your book and was really enjoying working thru it just before the economy crashed and i found myself with lots of free time on my hands.
I have to get back to it again some day.  Just not today as this current issue is a bit too complex to start all over If I don't have to.,

Thanks in advance for any thoughts that might work on this

Oakley Masten
