Scripting Quicken

Has anyone found a way to access via AppleScript the data in Quicken for Mac 2007 (Version 16.0.2 - R3)?

The app does not seem to have a dictionary.  Reports apparently cannot be saved to a file.

I can manually select short segments of a report, copy then paste manually into Excel 2008 (Version 12.3.3), so that's one (rather tedious) way to get at the data.  Long segments, however, seem not even be copied to the clipboard in their entirety.

Has anyone tried to parse the Quicken (.qdfm) file?

I'd also like to edit or create transactions.  Any ideas how?
