Yes. Just giving a belated explanation for why things had worked "as
hoped-for" for me - in my USA bubble - whereas others, more up to date, saw
different results. I'm all in favor of international standards, and will get
there when time allows, which shouldn't be too far off now.

A quick (I hope) OT question: without currently needing to be at the cutting
edge of newest-OS (until I get a new computer, anyway, also coming fairly
soon), which is the optimal OS at the moment for ease of use and
functionality with (most) current software? Latest 10.6.x or 10.7.x or...?
