Q: How can I pass InDesign specific variables from the main script to helper script, so that they are understood in the helper script?

Hey Bert,

I imagine you can employ using terms from:

using terms from application "BBEdit"
on x(doc)
lines of doc
end x
end using terms from

tell application "BBEdit"
my x(front document)
end tell
