Disk drive exerciser?

I am looking for a way to read large files (or large number of files) from one drive and write them to another. When finished, delete those files from the target drive and repeat. Infinitum. Until interrupted by a keypress or mouse click (can be customized in the script).

I couldn't for the life of me find an application to do this.

Suggestions? Anybody want to script one up?
