Navigating folders when using the “choose folder” command seems to limit navigation of folders when one does a search in Mavericks 10.9 (Build 13A2093).

Example:

If you use “choose folder” command in finder, but don’t type anything in the search box of a finder window to file the item somewhere in your system, you can navigate through a bunch of different folders until you find the location you want.

But if you type something in the Finder search box window after a “choose folder” command, it limits me to only one folder to choose. There is no way to navigate through the folder hierarchy if something is listed in the Finder window’s search box for the “choose folder” command.

Has anyone else noticed this issue?

Todd

I get the described behavior when only one folder match the key.
I used an other key « PDF » and got  a lot of answers

last 7 days : one folder
last 30 days : nine folders
july : two folders
february : one folder
…
2008 : four folders
2007 : one folder
2005 : one folder
2004 : one folder

I may double click one of the reported folder to navigate in it.

So, my understanding is that the feature behaves well.
