Maybe I'm missing something here. My intention is to pick up the working fields in the Find Text / Find GREP dialog. If they are inconsistent with the value of the find what and change to properties, I'm not sure how any scripted run of the Find/Change is going to do anything to change that, as that will make use of the out-of-date strings. A run in the interface would work, but that wouldn't that require System Events messiness (for what's possibly an edge case)?
If there was a way to address the contents of the Find/Change dialog, and pull out the fields if necessary, that would be ideal.
But then maybe I'm just missing something obvious. Wouldn't be the first time.
