Slow app with Fusion drive.

G'day Scripters

I've got a 5000+ line Xcode app that worked fine on my late 2010 16GB iMac. Very fast.

I've just updated to a new fusion drive iMac 27" with 32GB ram, and the app has slowed down like treacle.

The app uses the CS6 Suite (Illustrator & InDesign), GraphicConverter, QuarkXPress, Word, & Excel. Each of these mount and perform very, very fast, but in between there's an inordinate amount of time.

I don't know where to begin trying to track down the delays, and I'm wondering if any of you good folk have noticed anything similar with Xcode apps running under 10.8.2.

Regards

Santa
