I've been away on vacation, so please allow me an extension, based on relevance.

The OP was was using the word "uneditable" in reference to saved AS scripts. Calling them "uneditable" is a poor choice in this context, whether the word exists or not, because it fails to convey the fact that they not only cannot be edited, but they also cannot be read. The term Apple uses, "run-only", seems to me a better choice, and I suspect it also translates nicely.
