I run SnoLeo on a late 2011 MacMini (delivered with Lion, but after buying I immediately carboncopycloned SnoLeo from a former Mini), because I need Rosetta.
I indeed had always the impression, that the machine is a little bit slow for a core i7, but I did not credit that to the use of SnoLeo....until I stumbled over this thread. Well, I followed NewFoundGlory's tip (the hack is easy) and the effect is just incredible: I got a racing machine...
